Plug

Lagos · on WhatsApp

Plug finds you someone in Lagos who actually delivers.

Tell us what you need and where you are. We’ll match you with a vendor we’ve checked out, on WhatsApp, in minutes. Free for shoppers.

Start on WhatsApp

Opens a chat. No sign-up, nothing to install.

Orders from ₦50,000 are held in escrow until you confirm delivery

How it works

  1. STEP 1

    Send one message

“I need black gym gloves, size L, in Lekki.” That is the whole thing. No app to download, no account to create, no password.

  2. STEP 2

    We find the plug

Your request goes to vetted vendors in your area who stock it. The first one back with a real price and a photo is the one we show you — within 20 minutes, or we widen the search.

  3. STEP 3

    Deal with them directly

You get the vendor's name, their price, a photo, and a link to their WhatsApp. You agree the details with them yourself. We stay out of the conversation.

If nobody has what you’re after, we tell you that instead of stringing you along.

Why you can send money to a stranger

Everyone in Lagos has been burned by an Instagram vendor. Here is exactly what we do about it, in plain terms.

What “verified vendor” means

Before a vendor gets a single lead from us, we check:

  • Their NIN, checked against NIMC — so we know their real name
  • A live selfie taken at signup, so the ID belongs to the person holding it
  • A trading address, and that the WhatsApp number is the one they actually sell on
  • For orders from ₦50,000: their BVN, and that the payout account name matches the identity we verified

We verify people, not paperwork. Most good vendors in Lagos — bakers, hair sellers, barbers — have no CAC registration, and we do not shut them out for it. If a vendor is registered we check that too and show it as an extra marker.

After that we keep our own record of how fast each vendor replies and how many of their orders actually complete.

And what gets a vendor removed

Being on this list is not permanent. A vendor is suspended automatically when:

  • They ignore three buyer requests in a row
  • More than 15% of their recent orders end in a dispute
  • There is one confirmed case of taking payment and not delivering

The last one is not a warning. It is a removal.

Escrow on orders from ₦50,000

Your money is held by a licensed escrow provider — not by us, and not by the vendor. Plug never touches your funds. You can ask for escrow on a smaller order too, any time.

  1. 1You pay into escrowThe vendor can see the money is secured, so they ship.
  2. 2We send you a 6-digit codeIt goes to you and only you. The vendor never receives it from us.
  3. 3You get the item in your handThen, and only then, you read the code out to the vendor.
  4. 4The vendor is paidEntering your code is what releases the money.

Do not give this code to anyone until the item is in your hand. Once you give it, payment is released.

What we can find, and where

This list is short on purpose. It is what we can genuinely serve today, not what we hope to serve. It grows as we sign up vendors who are worth recommending.

Need something outside this? Message us anyway — we will tell you straight whether we can help.
